Keep the conversation
close to the work.

A new request shouldn’t quietly become free work. Price the addition, name the approver and give your client a clear place to decide.

Until the client decides, approved progress and amounts stay unchanged. Payment and delivery still have their own states.

Know when to stop.

Use an authorized Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox for reviewed outreach. Any reply stops the sequence for human review. Bookings, accepted estimates and workspace suppression also stop follow-ups.

The Solo fee comes from freelancer proceeds, never a surcharge on the client’s invoice principal. How the fee works

A few things, made clear.

Does payment mean the work is approved?

No. Paying an invoice, approving a scope proposal and accepting a delivery are separate decisions with separate permissions.

What happens when the brief changes?

The client requests an outcome. You price a versioned proposal. Approval updates the agreed scope and creates the appropriate draft financial record without rewriting an issued invoice.

Can clients see internal tasks and costs?

Clients see published top-level deliverables and aggregate progress, not private subtasks, costs, time or internal notes.

Does Solo require a Stripe connection?

Yes. Solo uses managed Stripe recipient onboarding and a 1% Moolamochi fee plus actual processing fees, deducted from freelancer proceeds. Studio and Agency connect their own Stripe account with no Moolamochi percentage fee.

a clear next step.
